457 arrested in special operation in Southern Province

A total of 457 individuals were arrested during a special search operation conducted across the Galle, Matara and Elpitiya police areas in the Southe Province.
Police said the arrests were made in connection with various offences during the operation, which was carried out between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM last night.
