Applications open for O/L 2024 (2025) re-scrutiny process

The Examinations Department has commenced accepting applications for the re-scrutiny of results for school and private candidates who sat for the 2024 (2025) GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.

Applications can be submitted only online from July 14 and will be accepted until July 28, the department announced.

Candidates can apply for the re-scrutiny process through any of the following methods:

Visit the Department’s official website: https://doenets.lk, click on “Exam Information Centre” under “Our Services.”

Use the official mobile app 'DOE' and access the “Exam Information Centre.”

Visit: https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic

Before submitting an application, candidates are advised to carefully read the technical instruction sheet and watch the explanatory video available on the portal to ensure accuracy.

The re-scrutiny fee is Rs. 200 per subject, payable via credit/debit card or at a post office. Upon payment, a PDF version of the application will be generated, which should be retained for records. A confirmation SMS will also be sent to the applicant’s mobile phone.

Candidates must ensure that all subjects they wish to apply for are accurately entered. Applications without the required payment will be rejected without prior notice.
