Deposit money for Sajith's presidential candidacy

Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the Samagi Jana Balawega and the leader of the opposition, deposited the security deposit for the presidential election today (31). Parliamentarian Ranjith Madduma Bandara, General Secretary of Samagi Jana Balavega, came to the Election Commission on behalf of the opposition leader.The bail was deposited and the members of Parliament Professor G. L. Peiris, Mujibur Rahman, Prof. Charita Herath, S. M . It is reported that a group of people including Marikkar were also present at the event.
The 2024 presidential election is scheduled to be held on September 21, and Ranil Wickramasinghe, Sarath Keerthiratne to contest as an independent, Oshala Herath from the Abhinava Nizaba Peramuna, A.S.P. from the Sri Lanka Labor Party. Liyanage is the other person who has deposited the bail money.
