Invitation only for Shah Rukh Khan event

City of Dreams Sri Lanka, South Asia’s first integrated resort, announced that its grand opening on 2 August 2025 will be strictly by invitation only.

In an official statement, the resort wa ed the public about unauthorized tickets being circulated for the launch event and urged caution when dealing with unofficial sources.

“We would like to clarify that this event is strictly by invitation only, and no third parties are authorized to issue, distribute, or sell tickets,” the statement said.

Formerly known as Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the billion-dollar development was recently rebranded following a partnership between John Keells Holdings (JKH) and global casino operator Melco Resorts and Entertainment Limited, who will manage the casino within the complex.
