Monday, 14 July 2025 - 9:50 pm

The Joint Postal Trade Union Front (JPTU) announced that it will launch a strike over the overtime issue at post offices and administrative offices across the island, starting from midnight tomorrow (15).

Union representatives said the trade union action is being taken in protest over the failure to carry out systematic recruitment procedures within the postal service since 2016.

The union wa ed that postal services, particularly those requiring overtime operations, will be affected by the strike and urged the authorities to address the long-standing recruitment issues without further delay.
