Special military operations in Ragama, Kandana and Wattala

A special security operation was launched in Ragama, Kandana and Wattala areas last night (July 4). The Army, Navy, Special Task Force and Police jointly carried out this operation.

The main objective of this operation is to ensure security in the relevant areas after two people were killed in shootings in Ragama and Kandana areas on July 3. Accordingly, vehicles and people traveling on the roads have been subjected to strict checks and search operations have been carried out.
